Finding yourself

many of us find being alone with the self frightening or unpleasant. This is often because in quiet and a lack of distraction the voices in out head are loud, distressing, and unavoidable. As we learn to appreciate and enjoy who we really are, rather than fearing the person the voices project we are, we begin to crave alone time with the person we love.

Today’s lesson is to find some time to be with the self and enjoy it. I have no problem with being with myself. If you’ve read through this blog, you surely know that there has been one person who forced me to confront myself and my demons. This person will always have my heart for that. He helped me to process all of the pent up anger that I held so dear and then release it. It has truly changed my life to do so. I became happier person. I would love nothing more than to have some alone time right now yet that is a scarce luxury in my world.
