Exhaustive searching

I am certainly sick of this exhaustive search for an emotional connection. I feel as though there will never be anyone on the same level as I. I don’t think that I am above most or above any, but I just can’t seem to find that someone to connect with. Most people I come in contact with I am in no way attracted to, others there’s a physical connection but none reach me mentally. I had always thought that there was at least one person for everyone, I am gradually letting go of that dream. That is the saddest realization that I have reached; the ending of a dream and the beginning of a reality of settling or loneliness.

I know the feeling. Not that it helps you, but you’re not alone. Best wishes for you 🙂
