Sleepless in Worcester???? I could only hope

I am totally exhausted today. I don’t know why, I didn’t get up extremely early, I didn’t stay up unreasonably late. I went to meet the family that I will be working with today. The lady that I will be caring for is about 90 years old. She had fallen and broken her hip a couple of moths ago and has been in the hospital ever since. She will be coming home tomorrow and in need of 24 hour care. I will be doing the late shift, which means that I will be there over night. She has a feeding tube and will need assistance swallowing.

I think that I will do well with this lady because my sister says that she’s just like me. Coffee drinking, book reading, talkative ball of energy. I can’t wait until she gets back to that.

I am going to try to pull an all-nighter in preparation of the coming overnight but maybe that’s why I’m completely ready for bed now.
